Registration for the International Youth Forum in China is open

Registration for the International Youth Forum "Creativity and Heritage along the Silk Road" is now open for applicants until the 7th of March 2017.

International Youth Forum "Creativity and heritage of the Silk Road" will be held in the cities of Changsha and Quanzhou, China, from 17 to 22 April 2017.

A total of about 80 young women from more than 60 countries along the Silk Road including China are expected to participate in the International Youth Forum.

Participants will be selected from among UNESCO World Heritage Youth Forum representatives and other engaged and active representatives of youth organizations working to promote creativity and the protection of tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

A final selection of the youth participants will be made by the Organizers based on criteria such as youth experiences in promoting creativity and heritage conservation, and to ensure gender parity.

At least one participant per country will be selected from among the applicants and will be provided with an economy class return air ticket, as well as local travel, accommodation, and meals in China. Non-selected participants who are able to purchase their own air tickets to the IYF will be provided with local travel, accommodation and meals in China upon communication of their arrival and departure flight information to the Organizers.
